20th anniversary of the loss of Agnieszka Ziemlewski
This year marks the tragic 20th anniversary of the loss of Agnieszka Ziemlewski, “Agnes” or “Nikki” to those who knew her well. On Thursday September 24th, 1998 at 5:24 p.m. Agnes’s routine of walking brought her to the MDC reservoir property on the Farmington/West Hartford town line. During her walk on the MDC property, she was shot and killed. This was not a random act. We believe the person who did this remains in our community.
We will not give up on this case. Every day we are gathering more information from the community to move this case forward and the continued assistance is appreciated. We are aware that there is information that has not been shared. It is sometimes the case that people who may have knowledge don’t initially come forward because of their relationships to people involved, concerns for their safety, or they may not realize information that they had is important. We recognize that relationships change over time as do people and their perspectives. It is not too late to come forward.
Anyone who might have information is asked to call 860-675-2463 or send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. There is also a $50,000.00 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect in this case. Please reach out and share any information you have with us.
