Are We Recycling Right?
Presenter Sherill Baldwin, Environmental Analyst III, CT DEEP, will talk all about recycling, including what goes in the bin, what stays out, and the impact of China’s National Sword on Connecticut’s recycling programs. Join her at the main library on Monday, September 16th, at 6:30 pm. There will be time for questions at the end of the presentation.
During the week of October 21 - 25, 2019, all Farmington residents who have trash collection by the Town’s contractor (Waste Material Trucking Company) are invited to leave their bulk items curbside the night before their regular collection day. Household Hazardous Waste Collection
The Town of Farmington is happy to announce that we are working with the Towns of Avon, Canton, Granby, and Simsbury to provide Household Hazardous Waste Collections. The next collection will take place on Saturday, November 9th, at the Simsbury Public Works Facility, 66 Town Forest Road, from 8:00 am - 1:00 pm.
