BID # 264

ONE (1) NEW, UNUSED 2018 BRUSH FIRE VEHICLE

 Sealed bids for the acquisition of one (1) new/unused 2018 Brush Fire Vehicle will be received by the Town of Farmington at the Farmington Finance Office, Farmington Town Hall, One Monteith Drive, Farmington, Connecticut 06032, until 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at which time and place said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Bid documents may be obtained at the Town Finance Office, 1 Monteith Dr., Farmington, CT., Monday through Friday excluding holidays, between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm.

Each BID shall be accompanied by a BID GUARANTEE in the form of cash, bid bond, certified check, treasurer's check or cashier's check made payable to the Town of Farmington in an amount equal to 10% of the bid.  The successful bidder upon award of bid will need to provide Performance, Labor and Materials Bonds in amounts equal to 100% of the contract price. 

The TOWN reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part and to waive any or all informalities or technical defects, if it is deemed by the TOWN to be in its best interests to do so.  No bidder may withdraw his bid within 90 days from the actual date of bid opening.  If for some reason the contract cannot be awarded within the specified period, the time may be extended by mutual agreement between the Town of Farmington and the designated qualified low bidder.

 Facsimile and e-mail bids will not be accepted.
