Fire Department

The Town of Farmington Fire Department provides Fire, Rescue, and Emergency Medical Services throughout the Town of Farmington. We are a "Combination Fire Department" which means that we are staffed by a combination of both Volunteer and Career Fire Fighters. Presently, we have 155 Fire Fighters on the department. 147 are Volunteer Fire Fighters and 8 are Career Fire Fighters who are on duty weekdays between 7AM and 5PM.

We are always looking for new volunteer fire fighters. If you think that you might be interested in joining the department, please review the Become a Volunteer Fire Fighter section of Web Page and then call or visit a fire station or the office of the Director of Fire and Rescue Services for an application.
