The west sidewalk on the Unionville Bridge (the side closest to Route 177 southbound) will be closed beginning Friday, February 6, 2026, between the hours of 4:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

This temporary closure is needed so crews can safely deliver construction materials related to the installation of the underbridge platform.

Pedestrians will be directed to a clearly marked detour route. Traffic cones, barricades, and signage will be in place to provide advance notice and guide foot traffic safely around the work area.

The sidewalk will reopen at the end of the workday.

Please note that construction on the bridge is expected to continue through June 2026.
