The Connecticut Department of Transportation is performing drainage work on Route 4 between Monteith Drive and Unionville Center.

Work is expected to take several weeks to complete and is being done in preparation for paving scheduled later this summer.

Motorists should use caution in the area and allow extra travel time as work is underway.
