The Connecticut Department of Transportation will conduct nighttime milling and resurfacing work on a 1.16-mile section of Route 4, from Route 177 to Monteith Drive.

Milling is scheduled to begin Sunday, August 2 through Monday, August 3, followed by resurfacing from Sunday, August 9 through Thursday, August 13. Work will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Sunday through Thursday.

Motorists should expect lane closures and follow posted signs and directions from traffic control personnel. Please use caution, reduce speed, and allow extra travel time through the work zone.

The schedule is subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen conditions.
